In addition to performing and recording with New Orlean's preeminent modern jazz ensemble, Astral Project, since 1975, James Singleton has worked with a wide array of musicians on a diverse collection of recorded projects.

Most recently James has recorded with the newly formed James Singleton String Quartet.
